Meeting Information:

The Association of Service and Computer Dealers International,  founded in 1981 is a worldwide, nonprofit organization, representing IT companies that provide hardware, software, maintenance services, leasing services, business solutions, and value added services to the business community.

The ASCDI Conferences provide a great forum for NETWORKING with others in the industry, meeting old friends and making new contacts.  That will NOT change.  However, we want the ASCDI Conferences to be MUCH MORE. 

If you attend the ASCDI ANNUAL FALL CONFERENCE 2009 in NEW YORK CITY, we promise to give you and your staff the opportunity to learn about the latest technology trends, meet with leading vendors, and gain a competitive edge in the IT market.  We want to offer you information that you can bring back to your colleagues and customers, information that will help you EARN their business and increase yours. 

The ASCDI is PROUD to announce we are conducting this conference, and all future conferences, in an environmentally friendly way by following these GREEN MEETING PRACTICES:

  • We chose a hotel that practices "green" friendly policies.  The W Hotel New York has a "Keen To Be Green" card in each guestroom asking the guests to turn off their lights and TV when they are not in the room.  They also request to be notified when you want sheets and towels changed.

  • We chose a "walking" city to help eliminate carbon footprints.

  • To reduce plastic waste, individual bottled water will not be served.  We will have pitchers of water on the tables at the meetings.

  • China service will be used instead of plastic cups.  Condiments will be served in bulk containers, not individual packets.

  • The 2009 registration bags, will be made from 100% recycled  products.  Plastic nametag holders will be collected for recycling.

  • On line registration is strongly encouraged over use of paper registration.

  • All sessions will be archived and accessible after the meeting on www.ascdi.com.

  • All office printed material will be printed/copied on post-consumer recycled paper.

  • Boxes and packing materials will be reused for the return shipments to the ASCDI office.

REGISTRATION FEES:

  • Member Registration fee is $745.00 per person and Companion Registration is $495.00 per person to September 15, 2009.  Non Member Registration fee is $1500.00 per person.  (These Registration Fees include the entire convention and all events!)
  • Partial Registration will be offered for this meeting as follows:
  1. Friday IBM Keynote Speaker - No charge to attend this session.
  2. Friday IBM Key Speaker, Luncheon Speaker, and Social Networking Presentation - $150.00 per person

Cancellation Fee Charged:  $75.00 Per Person after September 1 and $100.00 Per Person after October 1.  No refunds after October 5, 2009.
